Deutsche Yachten welcomes a new member to its ranks: Yachtglass GmbH & Co. KG specializes in glass systems for luxury yachts and has been supplying customers from all over the world for over 20 years.
Glass is a very important issue on the largest yachts in the world. Many owners want a light-flooded interior and the clearest possible view of the sea. A specialist in this segment has now become a member of the working group Deutsche Yachten of the German Boat and Shipbuilders Association.
Yachtglass, based in Dersum, Lower Saxony, has been active in the superyacht segment since 2001. The 20-strong company regularly equips yachts with a total length of over 100 meters with high-quality glass systems. And even more: according to the so-called total management concept, Yachtglass not only takes care of the glass production, but also the measurement, assembly as well as the cooperation with the classification societies. Annual service and maintenance work on board are also part of the company’s core competencies. In addition, the glass specialist offers to take over any planning work, on-site implementation and project and construction management.
As a subsidiary of the Hero-Group – a family-run group of several companies in the glass finishing sector – Yachtglass benefits from Hero-Glas as a strong parent company and from the synergies resulting from close cooperation within the Hero-Group. This ensures the greatest possible efficiency and guaranteed quality, but also a certain degree of security for the customer.
