Dornbracht Presents Atelier Edition
With “The Rock”, Dornbracht, a member of Deutsche Yachten, unveils its first Atelier Edition.
For decades, Dornbracht has been a leading name in the premium segment. From its headquarters in Iserlohn, Germany, the company produces high-end fittings and accessories for bathrooms, spas, and kitchens—combining meticulous craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. Since 1950, the brand has stood for iconic design, outstanding manufacturing quality, and continuous innovation. At the heart of every creation is the individual and their unique needs. This philosophy makes Dornbracht a sought-after partner for superyacht projects, where personal visions and exclusive lifestyle concepts take center stage.
“The Rock” is part of Dornbracht’s new Atelier portfolio, which offers custom-made solutions starting from a quantity of one—ranging from technical modifications and bespoke finishes to truly one-of-a-kind pieces. With this collection, Dornbracht is setting a clear course toward greater diversity and personalization in luxury interior design for superyachts and exclusive living environments.
The handles of “The Rock” are individually milled, ground, polished, and finished by hand in a labor-intensive process. Each piece is a unique object, distinguished by its tactile quality and the solid weight of the material.
“We’ve created something that feels both authentic and natural,” explains Caroline Schmitt, Managing Director at Dornbracht. “In an age of digital reproducibility, the immediate presence of ‘The Rock’ expresses a return to origin and sensuality.”
Crafted from solid metal and inspired by the strength and character of natural stone, the design combines clear, minimalist forms with craftsmanship-level precision.
In addition to the metal version of its MEM model, Dornbracht also offers customized options—including natural stone variations or hybrid designs that blend with other product lines. This flexibility allows for tailor-made solutions, especially appealing to superyacht owners seeking highly personalized and exclusive design concepts.
“Dornbracht is a perfect example of how dynamic and inspiring our industry can be—innovative, individual, and always focused on quality,” says Claus-Ehlert Meyer, CEO of Deutsche Yachten. “We’re proud to have such a strong and creative company among our members.”
